COVID safety, it’s up to us The COVID-19 pandemic is not over but the way we live with it is changing. Living with COVID-19 means understanding how we can lower the risk of catching and spreading the virus. The choices we make help protect ourselves, our loved ones and the community.
Wash hands regularly Help protect yourself and others from COVID-19 transmission by washing or sanitising your hands regularly. It’s up to us to help keep ourselves and our community COVID safe.
Remember to protect yourself Carry a mask with you. Wear it indoors and when you can't physically distance outdoors. Face masks are a simple but important tool to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and flu. They provide an extra layer of protection for ourselves and importantly those around us who may be at higher risk of serious illness.
Keep a distance from others Reduce the risk of transmission by keeping your distance from other people where possible and avoid sharing glasses and plates when getting together for a meal.
Book your booster Keep up your protection against COVID-19 by getting immunised and remaining up to date with the current booster.
Limit the spread Be alert for any COVID-19 symptoms – even if you are up to date with your vaccinations. If you have even one mild symptom of COVID-19, get tested immediately and self-isolate until you receive a negative test result.
