Poet's Breakfast 2018

Featuring current National female Champion Sue Pearce and multi-award winning  writer/performer John Peel!
Hosted by local bush poet Caroline Tuohey
Start your festival day with a fabulous cooked breakfast and enjoy a relaxing and entertaining morning of bush poetry by an Australian champion.
John Peel is a multi-award-winner writer and performer of bush poetry who is a regular at Narrandera's John O'Brien Festival and the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Walk-ups by audience members is a huge art of this event too - so find a poem and have a go in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. There is no pressure to 'compete' - the idea is to share poems we all enjoy listening to, so be brave and have a go! It's great fun!
Students are particularly welcome to recite - either reading a poem or reciting from memory.
We had previously advertised a guest appearance of Sue Pearce, but unfortunately due to ill health  Sue cannot make this year's festival. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
