SECURE YOUR STALL!
APPLICATIONS CLOSE Friday 30th September 2022
The fifth Taste Coleambally Food and Farm Festival will be held on the weekend of 28th - 30th October 2012.
The Main Street Festival is on SUNDAY 30th October, and your stall will be a part of this popular event, which will teach consumers about how our food is grown through delicious food options from around the globe, with local ingredients being the main feature. These stalls will be complemented by captivating musical and dance performances, cooking demonstrations by Guest Foodie Jamie Shepley, Paddock to Plate Precinct, Market stalls, entertainment and much more (see program for details). The Festival aims to ensure the Festival Trail on Sunday is interactive, colourful and vividly tells the Farm, Food and Fibre Story in a unique, interesting and personal manner.
There will be three types of exhibitors:
1. Food Stalls - selling or supplying mouth-watering dishes with an international flavour, promoting links to locally produced commodities as well as cooking demonstrations and tastings.
2. General Market Stalls - selling general good quality products, which do not necessarily have to be farm or food related.
3. Producers/Processors - Farmers and related businesses or food/fibre processors are invited to host an exhibit along the Festival Trail at the Main Street Festival on Sunday, which is an opportunity to provide educational materials and/or sell end products at the festival. The Festival Trail allows visitors to fully appreciate the importance of irrigation farming, discover how modern irrigation techniques complement sustainable food production and encourage them to associate with a range of locally grown commodities and brands which they purchase in the supermarket.
Which area of the Festival Trail will I be in? There is a range of possible areas and we will work out the best-suited area for your product or service. For example, Producers and Processors will be in one of the following areas...The Fibre Showcase (cotton, wool, straw etc.), Farmyard (animals, machinery), Biodiversity Centre (water businesses, land care, irrigation products etc.), Watering Hole (beverage, wine, beer, juice), Food Court (producers with food to sell) and Paddock to Plate Precinct for farmers and producers/processors.
Food and Fibre Producers/Processors who need help with their display - Our team of volunteers can assist you in showcasing your company or product, whereby your Farm, Food, Fibre story will form part of a series of themed banners guiding visitors through the Festival Trail on Sunday at the Street Festival.
There will be other opportunities on the Sunday to promote your business and have fun by participating in events such as the Coly Cook Off as well as many new events at the Main Street Festival.
Don’t miss your chance to be considered for inclusion in our 2022 Festival.
